Project Description
The project aims to raise youth workers’ awareness of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) and increase their capacity to provide assistans. It also aims to increase the community’s capacity to respond effectively to IPV, providing necessary support to women in dangerous situations. Another objective of the project is to increase women’s knowledge of abusive relationships, providing education, resources, and support to empower them and reduce the prevalence of IPV by educating people about its causes and effects.

Our Role
Balkan Bridge will be responsible for the establishment of a group of IPV survivors or women at risk of violence will be created in Bulgaria. The main objectives of the group will be to support and empower these women and to provide them with
information (i.e. legal opportunities, etc.) on how to end or avoid a violent relationship. Balkan Bridge will have regular meetings with them
