volunTECH

The central purpose of the VolunTECH project is to promote the values associated with volunteering among young people of all gender identities, with the aim of fostering active, supportive, and innovative citizenship in line with the principles of the European Union Youth Strategy 2019-2027. This project focuses on promoting digital volunteering as an essential tool that contributes to the integration, awareness, and empowerment of young people. In addition to its social and economic value, volunteering is also presented as a valuable experience to improve the employability and career guidance of young people, allowing them to explore future opportunities and discover their vocation.

VolunTECH also seeks to foster the spirit of social entrepreneurship among young people, providing tools to create non-profit organizations that generate a positive social impact. Through online training for potential volunteers, social entrepreneurs, and youth associations, the project aims to recognize and qualify young people in the fields of volunteering and social entrepreneurship. Furthermore, VolunTECH adapts to new trends in volunteering, especially in the digital realm, leveraging online platforms to recruit volunteers and maximize the reach of the volunteering movement.
